In the spirit of calgary code camp its time to blog about the presentation while in the presentation.

I am currently in Justice and Steves intro to Rails. So far I am quite impressed.

comparing ruby to a $5 whore.... priceless

oh and there was something about ruby. Actually the pace of the presentation is nice and fast which is helping me wake up (as well as the amount of caffine I injested already). It is a great into into ruby and now I really see why people are liking it as it is quite fast to code an app which looks to be a great timesaver. It was great to see all the cool things you can do (hopefully they will post their presentation video online somewhere). I was supprised that by 9:41 my brain is full.

They even got into watir to spam Donalds blog which was the best and most inspiring use of ruby I have seen so far.

Steve for the last part did a presentation about ruby CLR which was also a great view into how the whole thing comes togeather. These guys have inspired me to think about using ruby (which is a pretty big step for me as I am not a trend whore but I see the value in this).

These guys are going to be a tough act to follow!
